When you will have converted it to 230V and you found it is not the right one for you, I'll send you my postal address so you can forward it to me ;-) just joking, I am sure it is an amazing amp. Heard a MC with ThinLizzy a few weeks ago and man did it sound great.

Best two amps in the world.

The MTL just slays. Fills up the room like no other.

My ears are ringing event though i think the mv works quite good.

Cant stop playing it. Could be the best amp I've ever played.

Congrats, my Modern Classic IS the best amp I've ever played!

You should try the MTL, I like even more than the MC and MCII I had

How is the MTL different from the MCII - in terms of tone and capabilities? What makes it better to you?

It has more gain, more shaping options. I feel it has more depth and the tone is "complete" and as full as it can get - if that makes any sense. It can do MCII and beyond.

Cool. Just trying to convince myself I don't need a MCII as well.

Its a raw angry mean son of a bitch of an amp.

Thanks!!!

btw. im thinking about the fractal fx8, have you tried it?

yes. its ok. But I like a pedalboard with a switcher personally. I like the character of individual stomp boxes.

just heard from a friend who used to have one, that he had problems of using reverb with it. Cpu maxed out. Gonna stay away.
I've had mine for a while now and never had those issues. I'd never go back to pedals.

+1. I love the AX8. You wont have CPU issues unless you run really crazy stuff. I don't see me going back to pedals/switchers/loopers and a mess of cabling either. Maybe for recording, but for playing live the convenience of having everything in one box can't be beat.

And with all that in mind, I still miss my old 50 watt MC

Glad my 50 year old ears are still working and that you're happy Bro!! :D :D
It is one special Monster of a machine! Like no other...

Tell me if the wizards is > than my Fryette ultra lead ?

This amp is at the top of my "want" list. But I would have to sell 2 or 3 from the collection just to get a used one.

Do it, totally worth it. That's what I did :)
Reza curious question, with these new amps you got do you see yourself keeping the 2016 BE around? Just wondering how it stacks up for you.

Yes. But my Ultra-lead is a close second. It's the first amp I've like better than the UL. The Triple Recto is just as ear-crushing - but more fizz on the gain - and not as tight. RT member Flavatrocious's SLO hung well with it too at our little ampfest. After this get together, I sold my VH4 and replaced it with another Triple Recto.

Thanks for your info... but how do you like your wizards MTL better than the UL ?

More aggressive? More raw natural tone ? Tighter ?

The tone is more full and bigger sounding. It can get very aggressive like the UL (though you can't shape the tone quite like you can with the EQ on the UL). It's just as tight and has a bigger punch in the chest. It has a clarity to it as well, that the UL doesn't quite have.
