Man. The mtl 150 was probably the most amazing punch i have ever seen. Watching a cup of beer bounce accross the table with those palm.mutes was hilarious. That 6L6 version was sweet too.

I cannot think about it. My 50W EL34 has so much punch already

I haven't noticed the difference between 50 watt and 100 watt wizards. The 150, tthough...

Quite similar in some ways but different in others IME. Wizard mids, gain structure, highs, are very different, still has that stiffer Wizard feel as well. However, the dynamics, pick attack and punch/balls are similar.

I much prefer the JCM800. I prefer the MCII over the W800 and also over the MTL, Hybrid, and Hellrazor by a wide margin.

Man that is crazy to hear. I had a MC2 in the studio fir several months and just couldn’t vibe with it. Im in love with the Hellrazor tones Ive been hearing lately from these demos though.

Different strokes. I've had almost every Wizard model and some multiple times and MCII and MC25 were always my favs. That's until I bought an MCII 6v6 40w...that was hands down the best Wizard I've ever owned.

I’m loving the 40. Like you, I’ve had a crapload of amps over the years. Some special, some not. Sometimes I don’t realize the amp I had was special until I moved on. This one is. Full stop.
