You 70's - 80's rock guys hear this yet...

Pretty cool other than the solo which didn't fit that well.

$30 for the cd on amazon, stupid import pricing.

I thought of Coverdale too. And as far as the solo....it sounds very dry effects wise. Not sure I like it, but I appreciate him not hiding behind a wall of effects.

I only listen to music on my phone or computer anymore. Quality always sucks.
No reason for me to buy a cd.

Considering what you hear on "rock" radio nowadays, this is awesome in my opinion. Old school tone and songwriting. I dig that he is doing something different tone-wise than the old Vandenburg stuff. I love that raw Marshall tone he used in the old days, but this sound fits this style music. I'd be willing to bet that when he plays this stuff live, its a bit more aggressive than the studio versions anyhow.......

Very cool...

Singing was reminiscent of Coverdale and had a Badlands vibe to it as well.
That's OK with me, like both of those

Ready to hear more

Just bought the album off of iTunes. Absolutely destroys! Killer 70s style rock n roll. I live the JMP/ Plexi tones that he's using. I highly recommend this disc.

I dig it. Could've stood some good ole pentatonic licks in the solo. Singer sounds more like Ray Gillen than Coverdale to me.

I thought the solo was great..not too much, just enough to leave the listener wanting more

I thought the singer sounded a lot like "Slide It In" era Coverdale. And Adrian is one of my all time favorite players. I mean seriously, top 5. His playing on the early stuff kills me.

I would have much preferred seeing him on a sunburst LP Standard though. A black Les Paul Custom seems a bit reminiscent of a guy whose shadow Adrian spent most of his career in.

I definitely dig this!

Yep, pure hard rock. Dig the tune and arrangement. I don't think the singer sounds anything like Coverdale in any era, but I do think his melodies are Plant/Coverdale-ish. Timbre, no way, but he's got a great voice.

So my critical ear says the vocals need a better room and so does Adrian's guitar.

My "I'm not listening to enjoy but being a hyper-critcial pinhead" says Adrian's solo is lacking the soul that has made me love his playing for so many years. Nice solo, but doesn't seem like he was a part of it.

Whatever though, it's good stuff.
