Interestingly some manufacturing production is returning to the US. I was watching this news show about this mattress company that had outsourced, but freight charges have risen so much because of gas prices that it is now cheaper to manufacture them here, so they brought production back to the US. Yeah, well that and the cost of product won't stay that way for long. We're going to end up in a position where the US doesn't have the facilities to manufacture any longer (already there for many products) and China is going to crank up the price the same way Home Depot did after they ran mom and pop out of town. It won't happen overnight, more like the old "how do you cook a frog." Slowly crank the heat...
