Been using Wegen Dipper picks lately. I really like them because I don't use the pointy end of picks, I kind of use the side of the pick. Fits my grip better. The shape of the dipper is perfect for me.

Clayton custom .88 delrin or Dunlop tortex .88
Clayton's for shows(have band name on em)...they feel the same to me, only the print doesn't rub off like the Dunlop's :D

Dunlop 2mm. The non-gloss grey ones stay with me much better than the older shiny purple ones.

After Years and Years of playing the Tortex 0.88 i switched to the Ultex Sharp 0.90.....
They are great.
I also checked a lot of ohter Picks (still do) but for me the Tortex and Ultex series rulz!!!!

I actually love the Pickboy Carbon Nylon Edge (1.0 mm), been using them from prolly 10 years now, they're slightly bigger than Jazz III's with the same shape (which I've tried, just never bonded with). Only drawback to the Pickboys, I never see 'em in stores, have to order online.

I also like the Dunlop Tortex picks (the orange ones) for lighter playing.

Black Jazz III is what I use most.
My brother from another mother ;) , my pick of choice as well. I do kind of like the pitch black jazz mentioned above they're cool if you like the tortex material in a more accurate shape. They don't have the slick attack of the black jazz III though.

Tortex Pitch Black Jazz III's.

Use to use these, but switched to the blue Dunlop 1.0mm Tortex picks. I like the bigger sound of them compared to the Jazz III's, not to mention squeals are louder and the pick attack when hitting a lead is reduced. I also like the sound of them when I'm really digging in compared to other picks.
+1

use the black Dunlop Jazz III the most.

These picks last for months. Most picks last me hours and enough of the tip is gone that I do not use them any more.

I also use all of these pretty often ....

I like the red ones for funk and country type strumming.

The orange and yellow are good all around picks for playing a lot of styles. When doing stuff that changes around strumming, arpeggios, single line stuff where I need to switch styles a lot fast these both are good.

The green, blue and purple work better for for power chords and single note stuff.

In general the thicker the better it works for less strings and makes the tone thicker and fatter with better attack articulation.

I had a friend that did sound for years .... after every show he would grab the picks left on the stage. He gave me just about a coffee cans full worth. I have so many different kinds it is crazy. A lot of them I only have one or a few. They all have their own sound.

Some material used just kills the midrange. Well others just make the high end stand out. I like a thick sound with a clear focused attack. That is why I use the Jazz III.

When I first started using these I had a hard time doing funk lines that had walking bass lines a lot of cutting double stops. But now I can play anything with these with a lot of control. I can play stupid fast with the III.

I agree on all counts. I used to use the purple 2mm, but moved to the grey ones because they have a better grip.

I use Fender medium or Heavy. Looking at trying out some new picks though. I just use the Fenders cause that is mostly what I have used in the past....

Ultex Jazz III. I have been using them and JazzIII Black and red for about 3 years. I found I just have better control with the pick. I was thinking of tryin the Red Bear little jaz', but I lose picks like crazy. Unfortunately, the Ultex III blends in with my carpet.

Went from Jazz III to Ibanez sand grip and now playing 1.0mm Ultex.

Recently switched to Dunlop Ultex pics and my picking accuracy has improved.

Now if they only made them sticky they'd be perfect

Purple Gator Grips .96mm - used them for years. They last me a long time, and about 10 years ago, I liked them better than the Tortex ones. Haven't really tried anything different since then...

.88 tortex sharps! they take some getting used to but great after that

Dunlop green tortex .88s for electric, and tortex orange .60 for acoustic, and 2. mm dunlops or my fingers for bass.
I used to use the black jazzIIIs many moons ago, but I found that they made me play a little "stiffer". They were great for fast picking, but I don't really (and probably can't!) do much shredding these days, and if I want to dig in and get buesey/ bendy they don't work for me.
