I like the Cool picks....
Blue ones I believe.
But for the most part I grab whatever is around.
I have a bowl of assorted ones in the Jam room.
Medium or heavier gauge.

I've used the white Pickboy Meta-Carbonite Posi-Grips since the mid-90's (stocked up on them when they quit making them around '00). I'm down to my last dozen or so now so I've been on the hunt...so far I'm liking the Ultex sharps (1.xx mm...can't remember). Live I still use Pickboy stainless steel.

I rotate through a couple different ones. Red Jazz III, Dunlop 88, Dunlop Totex 1.0, 1.14.

They all sound different and greatly influence the sound and tone of my pick attack. Some are brighter and raspier, so I use those with my dark sounding guitars. Some are darker and more blunt sounding, so I use those with my bright guitars.

I say don't under estimate the affect different picks can have on your tone. I'm not talking about thickness either, the material is the biggest factor.

Tortex Pitch Black Jazz III's.

Use to use these, but switched to the blue Dunlop 1.0mm Tortex picks. I like the bigger sound of them compared to the Jazz III's, not to mention squeals are louder and the pick attack when hitting a lead is reduced. I also like the sound of them when I'm really digging in compared to other picks.
+1

What shape are you guys using ?
I'm just using the standard fender shape blue tortex ;)

Anything thing that's 1.14mm thick. usually the Dunlop blue picks.

Snarling Dogs Brain picks. The red ones, I think they are .73 thickness. Great grip, nothing better
