Zakk's amps on No More Tears and Live & Loud ?

No problem bro!

IMO the main reason for the sound difference in Live and Loud and Budokan, is that Zakk used Celestion G12T-75s in his cabs... Since late 90s Zakk has used EVM12L 200w Speakers in his cabs. BIG sound difference in those two speakers!

Yeah man, tons of headroom with those!

But yeah i really think it is the speakers, because whenever i have tried my JCM800 with other speakers, each time with each different speaker it almost sounds like a different amp!

I totally agree -
I used v30s for a long time until I heard greenies in my rig. Greenbacks are perfect for me. v30s and 75's are so grainy in comparison.

Likewise, Greenbacks are the exact sound i love! I used 75s for years before realising different speakers made that much of a difference. I always disliked the tone with the 75s!

I wish greenbacks came stock in marshall cabs. They add balls to the tone - I was amazed when I was tracking a tune in the studio the difference between greenies and v30s. Another thing I like about 'em is how you can run your amp loud and the cab reduces some of the volume. A marshall pushing a 300 watt cab is so much louder its insane. Greenies are good for the clubs I play...

Definitly!! I like greenies for the same reason too, they break up at fairly low levels compared to other speakers.. Oh yeah and because they also nail Doug Aldrich's tone when i use em with my Cameron

I picked up a 1960 AX 'cause the 1960 BC i got was so killer with my caswell modded marshalls. Its like the perfect tone for me.
I'd get the VM cab but the purple is just well, too purple. I hear they kill though, hopefully they'll do a run of VM's in all black.
