I think I am gonna ditch t-75 amd try creamback h75 or redback. Have someone tried these speakers in Uberkab??

I put an X-pattern of Scumback H / M's, in two of my Uberkabs years ago, and have been happy with them.

But, I do have a Friedman 2x12 cab with a V30 and a Creamback H, and it sounds good, too.

Haven’t tried those speakers in my Uberkab, but would just say I swapped the stock ones first for a quad of Fanes F90’s and currently have a cross of old JBL E120’s/K120’s and in each case the overall sound didn’t actually change a ton, unlike in my other cabs that change hugely with even some subtle speaker changes

I swapped out the T-75’s in my front loaded Ubercab for Creamback H75’s. Couldn’t pull the Creambacks out fast enough. Don’t know if it was the cab or the speakers but they just sounded harsh and shrill, all top end and no body. I put them in a Mojotone 4x12 with two V30’s and they sound much better in that. Still kinda ice picky though. Ended up putting two K100’s in that Ubercab and it sounds amazing now.

Good to know that. Thanks!!

Wow this is quite interesting. I thought there will be pretty much changes in tone if I swap the speakers.

Is yours rear loaded one?? If h75's make sound shrill, then I will choose redback.

I have an old rear loaded one and a newer front loaded one. I tried the Creambacks in the front loaded one. Couldn’t try them in the rear loaded cause that’s 8 ohms and the front loaded is 16 ohms. No experience with Redbacks but I’ve heard those have a smoother top end and sound pretty thick.

Maybe it could depend on the exact speakers you’re swapping, but that’s been my experience so far. Mine is also a front loaded one fwiw

I think it may change between years of production like with V30's, but the particular H75's Creambacks I tried were much brighter and had less low-end than the V30's I had at that time.

The H75s I have in my Bogner cab sound great. Not harsh/bright/shrill at all. They have a fuller body than V30s, have that woody mid-range of Greenbacks, and a tight/deep low end. My favorite speaker to date, but I would also like to try M65s at some point.

I've also heard clips of a bunch of other speakers. This video is great for a comparison of various speakers:

Thanks!! I appreciate it.

I don’t like H75’s at all. Very spiky high end. I recommend two V30’s on bottom/two RI Greenbacks on top. Killer combo in 4x12’s, imho.

My experience as well. But maybe they vary from year to year of production much like Nolly mentined about V30's in this forum. Because I've heard comparison clips where H75's are noticeably darker than V30's. Who knows.

My other experience is that H75's are noticeably louder/more efficient than V30's. Not as big of a difference compared to a G12EVH, for example, but in a mix, H75's tend to dominate over V30's.

I guess it is all opinion ?
I have 2 2x12 cabs with 1v30 and 1 75 cream back.
I love them ?
I have an Ubercab that is stock and I hate it.
Eventually I will ditch the gt75 speakers.

Could also be mic placement. A fraction of an inch has a huge affect. And there is a noticeable difference between 8ohm and 16ohm versions. The 16ohm speakers are brighter and have more fizz on the top end. I've switched all my speakers over to 8ohm and wired them for 8ohm. It's much better with every amp in my experience. That said... if the H75s are too bright for someone, the M65 could be a better option. But damn... those Fane F70s in that clip I posted above sound amazing.

Yeah, I agree about 16 ohm vs 8 ohm. I tend to prefer the brighter 16 ohm speakers. But these were a pair of 16 ohm V30's and 16 ohm Creambacks I was comparing in the same cab, so it was as apples to apples as I could get it.
