First the romans break from orthodoxy through a couple of heresies then luther breaks from the romans and now we have thousands of denominations. Only orthodoxy is pre-denominational which is why every other form of christianity is straight heresy. Most churches are like ted-x talks with acoustic guitars or some lame seminar. No worship. No liturgy. Grape juice and some cheap flake of bread. Sitting on a bench like a lazy bum drinking coffee listening to some yahoo preach his 45 minute version of the truth.Even the Christians can’t agree on the “infallible word of god”.
God really sucks at communicating.
Tell me about the tools animals make.Other animals can learn to use tools too, we are just better at it
Interesting fact: humans don’t actually have the ability to actually sense wetness. We don’t have the receptors.Actually water makes things wet.
I'm having difficulty believing you're actually the WEF chairman..Actually water makes things wet.
There are lots of simple tools that animals make. Some of my favorites being that crows have been observed dropping rocks in water to raise the level high enough to drink, chimps making straws to fish insects out of things, sea otters using rocks to break things, etc.Tell me about the tools animals make.
Rocks and sticks aren't really crafting a tool though. I mean, technically I guess they could be but how much actual creation is going in to them? A stick thin enough to fish ants out of a mound seems more like fitting the round peg in the round hole than it does creating an actual tool. Perhaps some chimps make nicer ant fishing sticks than others but I'm guessing that wouldn't be scientifically verified. I guess if I were to believe in evolution then someday there will be a monkey selling a nice rot proof fiberglass rod for the task. There are lots of simple tools that animals make. There are a lot of examples.
Very few examples of fabricated weapons outside of humans though
That’s not how evolution works though. Evolution doesn’t mean to become more human like.Rocks and sticks aren't really crafting a tool though. So they will never increase in intelligence or abilities to where a new species branches off from their group, superior to our current chimp? I thought evolution was basically supposed to be forward progress of a species, eventually morphing into a superior or new species? Like the evolution of man. It has always struck me as BS but it is stated as affirmatively by academia as the church states scripture. I just prefer to default to Torah. That’s not how evolution works though. Evolution doesn’t mean to become more human like.
Eating more insects isn’t how the chimp species survives. They have already evolved traits that allow them to do that. Using a tool is just an added bonus for them.
For humans however, it’s basically all we have, or at least what we owe our success as a species to.

Me: "What is this about ?"Wrong thread bro'.![]()
I know what I'm doing. You probably missed it but I added a link to the thread I thought you meant to post in to save you time.![]()
Thanks for taking the time to reply. You sound like you are describing adaptation more than evolution to me but I am not really qualified to say so so I default to your explanation. Ir what you are saying is true it kind of adds to my round peg in round hole argument with regard to tool making. A chimp has a high ability to learn basic stuff but I don't think it creates anything on it's own. Perhaps I am wrong, I'd have to think about it some more.It depends what your definition of “superior” is. Evolution happens out of necessity. To stay on the chimp example; If something happened and the main food source of chimps became insects, most of the chimps that survive will be ones that can access the most insects. Those chimps will breed and their young will see them using a stick to get food, and most of that generation will know how to get more insects, further on down the line until pretty much every chimp knows to use tools to get food.
It’s a crude example but it shows why evolution happens. It doesn’t happen just for the hell of it, it happens as a response and it happens out of necessity.
By the same token 'though, a simple, well-chosen analogy can be priceless.... we should avoid thinking about complex things with simple constructs.
Christ today would still be able to make aliyah. His mother has roots in David, the biblical tribe of Judah. People would say he is jewish, or of Judah, or "jew" by many. Jew is short for Judah. I didn't want to play games of semantics or are you going to be one of those "khazarrs stole jewish identity" guys? I still don't see your point so you'll have to go into more detail for me if you want to make it clearer. We can start with the fact that in greek and in my language and orobably in slavic too there are different words for Hebrew And Judeean. And then there’s a word for “Jew” but you won’t find it in the Bible because it’s a pretty recent word.
How about the fact that Judeean which refers to a region, like Californian but Hebrews were a people that existed in many places?
In my language it’s “evrei” which is literally Hebrews.
Then you have “Iisus, iudeul” which means “Jesus the Judeean”
Was Christ Hebrew? No doubt
