Being the Fuhrer of Germany in the 1930s was also a pretty big deal. So instead of avoiding answering directly about every single thing, why do you care what the Pope thinks?

He doesn't. Dan is not Christian at all. It was a good way to start a thread bashing Trump and with any luck starting another stupid fucking thread filled with his bullshit.

Because it’s a big deal.

The pope speaks for the Catholic Church , and he is speaking out against someone that Catholics in this county think is doing Gods work. That is interesting stuff.

I belong to an Episcopal church, but I wouldn’t say I go very often anymore.
But as stated above, his words are provocative as an American

Well I don't know about his religious status but assuming you mean he's not a practicing one then there's people that are Jewish by race and those that are Jewish by religion. Obviously most religious Jews are both of the above. There's no such thing as the Catholic race tho.

No but Israel is the Jewish state and Judaism is the religion of the Jews. Surely it's fair to say most people that practice Judaism are Jewish racially. Even the ones that live in other countries call themselves Jewish. In Australia there is even the Executive Council of Australian Jewry.

Not all Israelis are Jews. Some are even Muslim.
