Okay, he lived. The intent was to kill him. Shoot him at point blank range.

Of course the Democrat wasn’t charged for attempted murder. Now he is hiding. Wonder if the DOJ will investigate?

According to the story from the paper in 1962, authorities received a statement from the victim, who said that he and Witherspoon had been “playing with” the gun when it discharged.

The article states that officers learned during the investigation that prior to the shooting, Witherspoon and another youth had recently purchased pistols at a Scottsbluff-area firearms store.

The article states that the victim was struck on the left side of his face, but he was able to talk with both police and doctors upon arriving at a hospital.

Good thing nothing happens to people who threaten to shoot someone in the head, then follow through and actually shoot them at point blank range (outside of spending a night in jail). Then go on to become a Democrat politician (quite fitting).

@JDs Couch Dude, before it starts becoming really-annoying, please dial back the consecutive-posts-a-minute-apart thing.

Dare I say it, bad etiquette... and annoying. Similar to spamming pics as separate posts, it's a much-longer scroll-past than, say, a couple 'o paragraphs in a single post.

As always, just tryna nip it in-the-bud before it becomes a lockdown epidemic. :LOL: Several "batches" today could morph into more tomorrow, or, worse-still, set a "trend" in OTC. :LOL:

I don’t pretend to know what his deal is but he clearly has some sort of mental disorder.
