    Footswitch LEDs

The resister limits the current so you don't burn out the LED. Do you know what the supply voltage is at the pedal? Does the LED brightness very between amps? There is a chance you might be overthinking it, if you are able to swap them between amps, and they work, you are most likely good to go

Anyone still play a standard tuned 6 string?

Just 6 Strings here... mainly standard tuning, I will occasionally drop-D one of them... Hell, 6 strings kick my ass, I don't need anymore getting in the way to confuse the issue

What's your favorite fret crowning file?

That is what I use... Best to practice on something "less Valuable", and/or get the metal Fret Board guards. it is real easy to cut into the fret board with this one near the fret ends. For rounding the fret ends, an inexpensive way to do it is go to Harbor freight and get a set of their...

Your opinion on a $600 Squier?

when I decided to get it on-line, my wife kind of freaked out, as I have NEVER bought a guitar without playing it first... I told her, the Neck and pickups are getting swapped when It gets here... so she said find the neck I want and she will buy it for my birthday... and I did, because...

I see a lot of new faces here

I stumbled across this forum during a search of the interwebs for amp information... Joined up to lurk for a while. Decided you all are a pretty decent bunch, instead of the usual cocksniffers that have seem to taken over most forums... decided to get enough gumption to post

Your opinion on a $600 Squier?

Thank you First time I have ever ordered a guitar on line, in 30 years of playing with these things. I ordered from Sweetwater, mainly because I had the option of Seeing what I was getting.... which was important to me given the natural finish, I didn't want to get one that looked like 5 2x4's...
