Matchless def makes some amazing sounding amps, the C30 series can def get a little crunchy but they excel at cleaner to a bit of crunch with some jangle to it, really cool amps. They make other amps a little gainier if that's what you want. C30s are def not as hard rock sounding as the 800s though.
Do you have a reg V30 laying around to mix with it? The Retro 30 is a brighter more articulate speaker than the Vet30 according to WGS, so two of them might be a little bright,, are they broken in?

Yeah, Still buying some stuff here and there,, I am pretty content with what I have now and I am being extremely picky for a while,, only buying what I REALLY want and will keep for a while.
Both sounded great :rock: , I will be first and say I preferred the "Modern" clip though, everything just stood out a little better to me. Great job, I am sure a lot of effort went into this. Are you guys doing this to pick one for production??
