believe it or not for me its yngwie. that might be a shock coming from those that know me. and also stevie ray of course. i need to listen to stevie again, whenever i feel im losing some mojo or feel from my playing i crank him back on and remember where i came from
i have a custom 5 in my prs, its ok, its better than the stock one i guess but still not the perfect pu for me. and as far as the custom custom, i had that in an old brian moore guitar i used to have and i hated it, but some people seem to swear by it. im currently looking for a new set for my...
i have 0 problems with 2 of my sperzel locking tuner equipped guitars, they stay in tune better than the PRS locking tuners on my ce22, and of course my LP's tuners suck ass.
i found to get my tone i have to set the treble really low, usually between off and 9:00. a friend of mine just bought the new sv head im actually going there right now to record some stuff and try it out. ill let everyone know my thoughts

hmm, im gonna have to disagree with that, ive played iii's and own a iv. the iv can pretty much do any tone the iii can do. and the lead tones to my ears are pretty damn similiar. so in my opinion yes you can try out iv settings and see how close you get if thats the tone you are going for
that is sweet, i have a silverburst LP, gotta love that finish. i am curious to hear that thing when you get it, i dont have that much experience with P90's
great demos! call me crazy but i dig the tones your getting with the tech21 stuff more than the bones  , are you running them direct? i used to have a gt2 and loved it but it was stolen from me
