but remember, when you have all four of the same speaker, they respond and move air more evenly and cut through a mix better than if using mixed type speakers...

seriously? use the knobs that have the words "presence" and "treble" next to them for starters... not trying to be funny at all....

just don't mix the lynchbacks with g12M ( 25 watters).....the 25 watters have wayyyy too much mids and efficiency is down so they don't balance as well as other choices mentioned here...

find the real ones on line ( vintage...and pricey) ...the greenback versions have a shit ton more bass than the blackbacks, but you can mod the blackbacks to be exactly the same..

I've been running two greenback G12H 30 diagonally and two Blackback G12H 30's diagonally ( "X pattern") and this cab seems to stand out amongst about 4 of mine....all early 70's checkerboard. Note: the greenbacks have a smaller center voice coil orifice than the blackback...( half the size) so...

not a bad sounding amp, I think that the design and cosmetics could be more attractive, and could be done without pushing any profit margin budgets.

Seems to my ears as if the splawn clips have the biggest girth and widest spectrum of guitar in them....
