That sounds pretty bad ass to me. Read through the whole thread but didn't see what the entire signal chain was?

Thank you !!

For the Shock Me tune it's a Ibanez RG with a DiMarzio AT-1 in the bridge plugged straight into my 1968 Marshall Major Plexi 200w modded with PPIMV & one wire mod, then into a Marshall full stack of Celestion G12M greenbacks.
For the Nuno clip I used the same setup but with a different guitar, my Washburn N2 with a bill lawrence 500xl in the bridge.

Thank you for commenting, you're very kind.

I'm hoping my Nuno clips will go over as well as the Frehley clip did.

I just finished one more Extreme clip, riffin' out on the tune Cynical.

I think it sounds amazing. Rich in harmonics and as far as the gain is concerned, I love it !

I wouldn't touch a dam thing on it now. I always say that the final test is how it cuts in a band.

My 5153 50 watt stock cuts easily and sounds killer. But this amp you have here is a Marshall Masterpiece.

Again, I'd leave it alone as to me it is 100% pure marshall kick ass tone !!

Great amp dude

Btw.. Shock me was always one of my favorite Ace tunes.. nice job.

^^^^What he said.

That pickup really has a unique tone. I might have to put my BL 500L back in. The cynical sounded REALLY close to the original too. Love it. Think he used some cranked fender on that one. Dig the tone you just got there. Pornografitti sounds more like the ADA than three sides and waiting for the punchline do to me. Like them all for different reasons but of course think the rythm and lead playing on everyone is spectacular.

Love nuno! Probably the best rythm writer besides early evh. He just had the mojo and feel. Leads well, off the chart there too. Incredible player.

Yeah, Nuno is awesome.

I want to try another Nuno clip but I'm not sure what tune to play.
Maybe He-Man Woman Hater? :D

Yes!

Thank you!!

The BL 500xl has that fender strat twang to it and lots of ballsy tone along with it.
I find the leads are still nice and fat as well at the same time.
It does sound like a cranked fender on that tune. I'm using more gain than the original recording because, well I just like the way it sound better. :)

Here's the tune with the backing track minus Nuno's guitar track, so all the guitar is me, obviously.

If it's your only amp - I pity the fool.

Nice OTP . . .
