The cap I used in V1 is a Sprague 330uf Axis 25v.

Ok, that's good.
Let us leave everything the way we have it right now, maybe change the tone stack resistor from the 47K to a 33K to tighten it up a bit.
Lets forget the 1meg and instead lets change the one wire with a shielded wire to prevent the squealing and interference or at least reduce it bigtime.
Here's a picture of the wire I'm talking about.

I'm with you on that!
Even though I only understand a teeny fraction of what dudes are doing, I find myself captivated by the entire process.

For the style of music I love to play most this '68 plexi is going to be my go-to.
It's a plug & play amp that cleans up great when you roll the guitar volume back and has tons of articulate gain on tap.
I've made a lot of recordings of this amp trying to get the sound right, so I'm sorry for all the wankfest recordings, but it's really helped me get this amp sorted out.
I hope my clips are interesting enough for you guys to enjoy.
Thank You & Cheers,
Michael

Spent some time with the 68 Metro plexi today. Currently specs are as per your Superlead drawing.
Except for the presence pot have not changed that yet.
She is sounding pretty good. I hope to have my recording software fixed this week and i can post clips.![]()
Thanks, Brian
