ya know, that actually might be possible.

those of us with iphones, or the like, CAN stream live using certain programs...perhaps we can set up something on Ustream or something like that, and just stream the whole thing (or some of it, anyways) if there is WiFi there...

James, yes you can make a call an invite other people to join in, and make it a conference call. I don't know what the limit is though...
 
I mentioned this on HRI. There's got to be a simple way to stream it live.

Let's all look into it. I have a webcam on my laptop, wouldn't be the best feed though. Let's see... I'm friends with Paul who owns Kulak's Woodshed here in LA, he has a bunch of high end cameras and does a live feed.

Let's check out Ustream.tv

I have this program on my iphone called Ustream Broadcaster that uploads to a Youtube like video where you get a URL to give to people so they can log on and check it out.
For instance...here is my link...

If someone wants to test it with me, send me an email or PM, and let's give it a shot.
There is a slight delay (maybe up to 10 seconds) but it does work as a live feed. Also, the audio is a bit grizzly...

I'm sure we could set it up on a laptop's webcam as well...
 
FWIW: Would it be too crazy an idea to consider using a pedal to boost some of the amps for a portion of the high gain segment of the event? I realize matters are already quite complicated as it is, but some high gain heads go from good to brilliant when pushed a little.

Anyway, just a thought.

guitar player magazine and premiere guitar should cover this and partner in the making of a DVD set of this event to market through their distribution networks.

i'll bring a giraffe and a bearded lady :D
 
We need an SLO. Have to have it for this. Anyone in the LA area have one????

That would be awesome. A Voodoo amp would be great too. I personally don't know anyone with one though.
