There's a D120 with loop I believe on TGP that's been sitting for quite a while at $1,500. Pretty fair price these days. For pure tone, I remember liking the Deliverance a little more. It’s a beast! I wish I still had both amps.,
Influencers ruined YouTube!
And no graphic 6 band EQ >>> Really ???
This just in.... Breaking News Alert...That actually looks like it’s going to sound like shit
Old School sliders be damned right!Looks like you control the EQ through the LCD screen![]()
Hard Pass for me. I guess an older Pitbull is going to go up even more in value now.$3,999 for the rack UL 2 per Axe Palace
I hope so. I am in a situation where I am playing out three-four times a week but I am limited to a clean stage setup. An actual tube preamp with a digital power section would be a great solution for me. The Tonex gets me very close to my amps via captures I have made, and then captures of unobtainium amps from third party vendors, but an actual tube preamp would be wonderful.I have to think this is on the horizon..both channels, in purple or snakeskin....take my money too!
He was busy printing love letters into the pcb....Hard Pass for me. I guess an older Pitbull is going to go up even more in value now.
Fryette should of taken a que from Gibson/Mesa and just re released the Ultralead in it's original form.
I think that Mesa has sold a ton of the Mark IIC+ and 90"s Dual Rectifier reissues , but maybe Fryette wasn't paying attention![]()
Actually, I'm sure it will sound great, but don't prefer the new format and really hope that there is still an option to get the fire breathing head?He was busy printing love letters into the pcb....
Jk, ive had nothing but good encounters with them but yeah, I do see everyone's points. Would just need to try the amp for myself to see but yeah.
Yeah, I cant imagine it being difficult. Unless some of the parts are out of production and new parts don't meet the QC is the only thing I can imagine.Actually, I'm sure it will sound great, but don't prefer the new format and really hope that there is still an option to get the fire breathing head?
I can see on the display there’s an option that says “equalizer”, so maybe it’s a digital option now that can change per channel. That’s actually pretty cool if that’s the case!View attachment 430191What the hell is this? Considering all the interest over all these years for the Ultralead to be re released they decide to not listen to their customer base and instead put out something completely different. And no graphic 6 band EQ >>> Really ???
I get companies want to evolve and they are not faulted for it . it just would of been nice to have had the option to have the original design available again as there is a market for it, but instead well... there is this![]()
That’s what kills it for me. If it had an analog GEQ, I’d actually entertain this but not exactly pumped up about it in any facet. Steve knows what he’s doing and I’m sure it will sound good but I’ll stick with my OG that I’m never letting go thanks to this release.Looks like you control the EQ through the LCD screen![]()

It just gets worse and worse.Fryette Pittbull Ultra Lead II 6L6 120w Rackmount Tube Head (Pre-Order)
Did I read that correctly? It's loaded with 6L6 tubes instead of the KT88's ?

Yeah but the UL was KT88.The description on that link, which is the Fryette press release says it’s a mix of el34 and 6550. Not sure why AP header says 6L6
Yeah but the UL was KT88.
