I REALLY like it when people get something, a day later they say: it sounds great, but I really need the money for bills, then they go and buy something else for the same approximate value...as if we wouldnt notice?

The "bills" are for the gear they have en route that aren't fully paid for yet...

Cameron's modded amps must really sound like shit then because his amps have been passed around more than a bong at a hemp fest.

But Diezel's do have one of the best Master Volumes though. Most of us just buy and sell to see what all the hype is about and move it for something else.

My Cameron Jose has been passed around by 4 different people. I only knew about 2 before me when I bought it. I think there are "other" reasons for people selling them though. Reasons I cant discuss, but previous owners of certain amps will understand... which is a big reason for me buying....

Depends on the meaning of Bum amp?? If it's broke or defective of course and should alwys be disclosed but...some choose not to and seem to be ok with it but not me.....Now..if ya mean Bum cuz you just don't like it then...thats just matter of taste and has no bearing..Most amps I sell I do like but something doesn't feel right to me or it's too modern sounding..etc,etc...Damn near 100% of the time the new owner loves the amp with no dislikes at all so...It's all in the hands of the beholder!!!

One mans "great high end bite" is another mans "too much scratchy sizzle", one mans "loose, floppy lows" is another mans "nice, spongy sag". One mans "not enough saturation" is another mans "clear, percussive, articulate". One mans easy to solo on "liquidy gain for leads" is another mans downfall making him never use his picking hand because legato playing is too easy.

That's why there are more than Plexi Marshalls and Fender Bassman amps in 2009.

This is one of my favorite threads I've read in a while. All of these reasons for selling are great. I swear people cut and paste these from previous Ebay postings. "Sympathetic" selling doesn't make me want to buy from anyone. Just tell the truth. If you don't like it, just say so.
