FTATR is too heavy in the ass. It plods. They went too big on the drums. Flick of the Switch nails the band balance. They also went too far on Fly on the Wall but the guitars are so vicious sounding, I still love it.

I love every acdc album. . Each one has a vibe . The tones on fly are vicious af like you say . Then you have the Mesa tones on Razors Edge and LIVE . Then the pure super lead and super bass tones on SUP
. The wizard mixed Marshall and EVEN some modeler tones on Black ICE .

Even when they got weak for me (with albums) in the later 90’s and 2000’s, there’s not one I’d kick out of bed for eatin’ crackers.

I think Rock or Bust is the weakest but still great
