What happens is that TV's are for general consumption so in order to prevent shenanigans and heartache / confusion, they limit add-ons to trusted developers / companies.

In dev mode you can install whatever you like, I'm guessing to cover devs who're obviously testing what they're coding as-they-go.

I've forgotten the procedure on Google TV's (like the one @MadAsAHatter is talking about), but it's just a matter of hitting enter / yes over the appropriate sub-menu title.

@MadAsAHatter, Check that your TV hasn't run out of disk space, bro; that's most often the reason people can't install anything new. If you're having trouble with FuboTV customer service, you can also check https://fubotv.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html for support information, and of course, please try Dev Mode.

I completely understand. Smart TVs can make simple things way more complicated than they need to be. If the Fire Stick is easier for you, I’d stick with it. You can keep all your apps in one familiar place instead of fighting with a different TV interface every time.

Sorry to disappoint brother but thanks to your mention I immediately became aware of an oppormatunity to blast a bot.

Talk about an AI-driven answer from the "dude" in Pakistan who says he's from the USA. In true AI form, he didn't even comprehend the fact that I've never had a "Fire Stick"... unless you count my private monkey part. Reading through his previous 11 posts is a study in AI-driven drivel.

Anywho, hope you're well brother. Not quite up-to-it yet but have been doing the menial stuff in the back room in typical-Virgo style (we're known to be happy to do the unsung work that helps the world go 'round).

I'm not quite back yet; I forced myself to maintain the backroom-work thing in the hope it'd help preserve what sanity I had left and also of course out of a sense of duty to my beloved RT.

This was simply an instance of that work's "bleeding through" to the main board or OTC; it happened a few times.

Not quite up to facing the full force of "the real world" such as OTC yet but I have hope now, which cannot be underestimated. I haven't actually loaded a single page of OTC during the break, this being an exceptional circumstance 'cause an AI bot beckoned and I had to swat me a fly.
