Kick ass man! I love my 2013 QR to pieces.

Interested to hear your thoughts on the switches and how they affect the overall tone.

Any updates on this? I talked to Scott and he said I could ship my 2014 amp in and add all of the features. Mine's already a B+ and that mod is the most expensive, so not sure I want to add that one if the difference is subtle.

I have one of the new QRs. The difference is very subtle. I tend to not use the B+ setting to get the tighter, faster response.
The mid cut has the most drastic effect. Takes it from ripping your heart out of your chest to kicking you good square in the nuts. I find it useful for going from say 80s Rock (normal mid voice) to more modern rock (mid cut).
New/old is very subtle too. The old setting seems to have a bit more boom in the lows. New is more compressed.

Awesome, thanks for those descriptions. Hmmm... I'm not sure I need any of these options if they are that subtle. I mean, in terms of the extra coin I'd have to spend. I'd love to have them now if my budget wasn't so tight at the moment. If I do one, I'd do them all, for optimal resell value. Kinda disappointed to hear the B+ switch and Old/New is very subtle. I bet they're only subtly noticeable at higher volumes, i.e. 9:00+.

Would love to hear clips, so hopefully someone will do them so everyone can hear the differences.

Cheers!

I am not even sure you would hear the difference with the B+ and old/new in a clip. It's more a feel difference and the small audible difference likely would not translate through.
This new one is a bit different than my '09 but it's likely due more to the transformers and slight tweaks over the years. The EQ seems to react a little different. Treble is more useful and I feel like there is more bass on tap. It's darker too as I find myself pushing the presence up a lot higher than in the older one.
I have been gigging the new one, but fired up the '09 for rehearsal last night and they both really rip.
