Maybe for most average folks who play in their bedrooms.......

And don't know much about anything.......

Or nerdy guys on the Internet...... And forums..... Here or there..... Or anywhere....

But in general not so much :dunno:
Im
Just all around guitar lover . Andy is probably more popular than you think . I’m mean I get grifty YouTubers and their sig gear but just saying Andy and Keely shit is really good .

I don't think so..... In regards to actual popularity.... Keeley stuff is good and I agree.....

But yeah 👍

Maybe if youre a square....

Put on a Kirkland Plaid Shirt...... Have Kirkland Khaki Pants..... And Kirkland Tighty Whities...... Do you think D-Listers are any good or worth ones time..... Or cool/popular.

Everyone has their own taste. I understand that. But I think you are gravely mistaken to dismiss Andy Timmons. He is a kick-ass guitar player. I saw him in Danger Danger way back and thought wow! I met him twenty years ago at a guitar clinic that I reluctantly went to. I had considered throwing in the towel and not playing ever again. He heard me play and thought I would be making a big mistake. He made some suggestions and I am glad I listened. I was able to get some session work for commercials and started playing out again.

His whole catalog of playing is awesome! Soulful and shreddy...

He is a very nice person too. I've met some amazing players in my time. Many who I do not care to meet or listen to ever again... but not Andy... he is very cool...

Just my .02

lol you’re a stupid mother fucker
Not any more stupider than the Woke fuckers and Kirkland closet fags and the like at JHS and Josh who sell and make stupid shit like the Andy Timmons whatever the fuck 😂

I feel the same about Steve Brown. I’m seeing his name and pic more and more, but am wondering why? He was in Trixter. You know, that hair band that had 1 song on the radio that lasted about a week after hair bands were already dead.

Like, why is he all of a sudden a big deal?

Then you have that Marty YouTube dork, that Pete guy with a disability, etc…. I don’t get it.

I mean who wants Kirkland D-List shit like the Andy Timmons Woke JHS pedal.....

Or better yet the Bruce Springsteen pedal by Fender......

Yup only square, khaki, plaid Kirkland wearing fucks..... Much like your average TGP Members and the like 😂

Who is it for and who buys this shit.....

Are these players still relevant on any level and well who cares no?

IDK i don't ever see a pedal and go "no way Andy Timmons uses this to get his sound"..... Or whichever of these other D-Listers mentioned I mean let's be real here, who is the market for and what market is out there for this garbage :dunno:
I don't go out of my way to buy signature gear.
That JHS Angry Timmons was killer in a band context, thru a 4-holer for hard rock to Pantera type stuff.
The Timmons Carl Martin compressor is my fav compressor.
The Halo is a fantastic delay. I might sell my EVH SDE3000 and pick up the Halo.

I got the Vai version of the Spark Mini, because I like the maroon. His PIA guitar is a banger, too. Very nice.
The Eric Steckel Mezzabarba is a badass amp, basically a modded SLO with EL34s.
Garbage to you, killer gear for someone else. Life would suck if we all liked vanilla ice cream.

Hhhmmmm sure.....

Cool story bro......

NVM most shit JHS makes sounds like you have a blanket over your speaker/amp but NVM that .... May as well get the Mooer or NUX equivalent :dunno:

Life got better when I started cleaning my earholes with QTips.

Give it a shot. Bro.............

Maybe you should keep your ear holes clean to begin with......

Especially the closet fucks from JHS or Vertex right..... And whatever the fuck else they may do......:dunno:

Who knows what goes in those ear holes 😂

I own the JHS AT+ and a Halo. Not because of Andy necessarily, but because they sound good. The AT+ is not a D type pedal. It is firmly rooted in the M lineage. The Halo is firmly rooted in the EH vintage delay.

@The~Kid you seen to be posting like you want to get banned, seriously! Be a little more reasonable...

Can't we have actual pedals and good stuff.......

Like say something from real artist and A-Listers vs whatever garbage squares/nerds seem to push on everyone

Hmmmm Mike Campbell rings a bell nvm Tom Petty :dunno:

That's a great story!

His playing is on another level, imo. He's one of those dudes that speaks his own language thru the guitar. His note choice, technique, dynamics, everything, so tasty.

100%, everything I hear about Timmons from folks that know or have worked with him (he's local), is how friendly and nice he is. Just a great person.

I was at the Dallas Guitar Show one year, down on one knee, playing through a Bad Cat Hot Cat combo, really feeling it out, clean to mean, working all the guitar controls. When I stopped and looked up, Gearmanndude of YouTube pedal demo fame, was smiling at me and said Andy Timmons was checking you out. I looked over my shoulder and Andy was walking away. Looked back at GMD like whaaat, and he said, yeah, he stopped and listened to you the whole time.
I know it's stupid, but it freaking made my day.

AT+ is tweaked Angry Charlie, which is a tweaked MI Audio Crunchbox, which is based on the Marshall Guv'nor. Suhr Riot is also based on the Guv'nor.
You probably know all this, but might be useful info for anyone looking at one of these pedals.
FWIW, I had the Crunch Box, Riot and Angry Timmons. I'd buy the JHS again if I wanted a thicker JCM800 tone that can be boosted to heavier sounds. Sounded perfect in the mix.

I think that the AT+ was designed to get Andy some Plexi Marshall sounds from his clean Lone Star amp rig.
