Another guitar build completed

They really moved on from being the source of cheap instruments back in the 80's/90's. Cheap guitars are from elsewhere in Asia now.....and even those are surprsingly good compared to what we started off with.

Am I a hypocrite though, when I admit that all of my guitars are US produced! lol
I tend to agree. Current stable:
3 Gibsons, 2 Suhrs, 1 Fender CS Tele & 1 2003 PRS. These are my keepers, for now anyways. A lot of other fantastic USA guitars have come n gone.

I use 2 Squier CV HSS Strats as beaters. Best bang for buck China/Indonesia guitars I've played.
They play great, and (with ugraded electronics) sound as good as my other guitars. Honestly, they're so good for the $, it feels like a crime.

I don't really fit in all that well here in one way. My primary guitars I've owned for 25-30 years at this point. I haven't bought a new guitar since about 2010 and that was one I built from US built parts. I tend to keep things forever, and just add select pieces now and then.....and most of that was in the 80s and 90s!

I don't sell guitars.

I buy them.

And occasionally, build them.
