Hack
Almost on accident, I picked up my Huffschmid granite pick and started playing with it. I don't really like using other picks now... I have come full circle. What are you guys using. (this is a vpick screamer for size reference)

I still have liked most those Attak Stealth 2.0's you recommended. For tone I prefer still those Howling Monkey's you also recommended (they sound like using nails as you said), but for playability those Stealth's are just perfect for me. If only Howling Monkey made a pick like that

I have picks from other brands made out of various stone materials, but didn't like them as much

Ive been using the Stealth Xls for about a year now. Love them..

Same .71 and .73 cheapos I've been using forever :ROFLMAO:
Sometimes I like the tortex .88 green ones too for certain things, but mostly use these ones depending on the weather.

There’s a XI version? I’ve been using them for about a year and half and wondering how I used to play before them haha

I will say that the most brutal of sounds I have found in a pick is from a suggestion from one of the last threads. They are a bit small for my lumbering oaf like fingers but they will stay put because of the design. The triplets are percussive as a war drum

So my "granite" pick is actually made from a plastic of some sort. Just looks cool as shit. It had a mild brush sand to it that makes it stay put against my thumb no matter how aggressive i get

I'm really digging the Dunlop Petrucci Flow pics...just a nice size (little bigger than Jazz III) and good feel etc.
