I put those on, heavy Brass slide, and my steel body Resonator.... My wife will commence to bitching in less than 10 seconds....
But that is a rude, raw, straight to the Delta acoustic tone
And Eric Sardinas uses those.

I started using them on acoustic and then when I got a semi hollow it made sense to me to just start using them on my electric. Works better for me than a flat pick.

Hawk pick seems to be made from the same material as the red bear picks, casein. Tried making them before but I've got no formaldehyde.

In the 80's i used copper & stainless steel picks love the sound & feel but they eat the outter wrap on your D string so if you don't
mind restringing a guitar everytime you play have at it.
EVH ficticiously blamed his oral cancer which later spread to his head & neck and killed him on metal picks instead of ingestinging
