really a little too early to comment much. It's not a Tom Anderson, ie: maybe fine tune one string out of the box to get it in tune!
right now i'm fighting it to get it to stay in tune, but appears that it will play really nice when/if it does.
just shooting from the hip, i'm gonna say it's about like the higher end ESP LTD's for quality, so an 800-900 guitar with a 1400 Gibson price tag!
minus the 15 pound ESP truss rod!
the fret board is really nice and appearing to be way way better for playabilty than my other Explorer. there's no buzz or fretting out anywhere, think they've really stepped it up in this department.
the guitar sounds good, plays good, and hangs good! get it to hold tune i'll be a happy camper!
yea the guitar is priced a little high and they should have used a Gotoh floyd, but on the for real, finding a floyded Explorer is damn near impossible. So all things considered, if holds tune, that's good enough for me.
