Anyone compared a 2203x to an original?

I’ve tried them side by side and the originals definitely have more body and grunt due to those transformers, but to be honest the difference is not all that important to me nowadays than having the FX loop and it’s really getting hard to find an OG that hasn’t been mucked around inside or having old components just about to fail on you. I wish they made a 2203X in white as I really want one like those early 80’s anniversary models.
 
Is that the black faceplate 800 I saw? That one is so sick looking

Hey, what’s that that looks like a footswitch jack on there?
Yeah I did this one with foot switchable 4th stage and dual masters. I used an 800 chassis which has a lot more room so I was able to fit a DC power supply, 2 separate relays and all the necessary jacks and pots. It’s a lot of extra stuff.
 
I haven't played multiple examples of both but I liked the 2203x more than an old JMP 2203 tbh
