Thinking about this as a different fun option for pedal platform but never done it , anyone use this as a rig ?

I knew a band in the early 2000s that ran pods into PA power amps and PA speakers stacked up like guitar stacks. They played Ibanez Gios with the straps duct taped on. They were on drugs. Don't be like them.

Maybe? Depends what you mean. I took a Bogen CHB50 and rebuilt the power supply with new/upgraded parts, built a dedicated bias supply with an auxiliary transformer, and did some other stuff including making the I/O connectors the standard for guitar use, then slaved it into a Fryette Power Station to overdrive the power section. A friend uses that amp with a multifx unit as a backup rig now, runs it clean and gets everything from the fx.
