There should be no charges for this man, I don't care if the future engineer that was ventilated was running away - anyone breaks into your home or property and is on that property to commit crimes should be fair game
I do worry about this sometimes. My wife is disabled and really can't run away from an attack. Even a slight physical assault could leave her severely injured. In order to protect her life, i would do anything including taking out someone trying to hurt her in any way.Don’t break into people’s garages and you won’t get shot.
He wuz a guud boi… now heeza dead boi.
Done and done.
Move to a free state bro and you got no worries.I do worry about this sometimes. My wife is disabled and really can't run away from an attack. Unfortunately i could see me ending up in jail and the criminal(s) being set free.

Damn, I love it.
That definitely makes the difference. I think Indiana gives you some kind of Public Service medal for shooting a burglar. OK, I may be mistaken but you don't go to jail. It's hard to believe that shit actually happens in this country.Move to a free state bro and you got no worries.
some states expect you to retreat and not defend yourself at all during a home invasion. there are also stories of the criminal's families filing civil suits for money...That definitely makes the difference. Some states do not mandate a "Duty to retreat", rather they extend Castle to any space you are legally able to occupy and add Stand Your Ground to make sure everyone is perfectly clear on the matter. I live in one of those states. Canada is even worse I heard, but don't really care about going to eastern canadastan, unless the western provinces become US states![]()

... and in some states with the Castle Doctrine... where people live in the middle of nowhere... and a gunshot can not be heard for miles around... they like to leave their doors open at night... just hoping some unwelcome visitors show up... cause sharks and gators have to eat too...
