what has changed is that i've found other tones that i like as well as a stock crunch tone.. and i've been more open to experimenting with what i have in my collection. now.. if i'd spend more time playing and less time experimenting i might be on to something.![]()
I actually quite similar. A tight, punchy Marshall tone has been my mainstay since starting guitar but lately I've really been into the sag, especially for finger stuff, that you get from a Fender style amp. Rockin' but a little loose. I owned a Lo Po Tweed Twin for a while that was great and I hope to get something with a little less power but similar in the future.
