Celestion Alnico Creambacks - clean to mean.

They do sound kiler but do they sound better than other $320 speakers? JBL? EVM? Beyma Liberty? SRO? I could get just about any speaker I wanted for $320 so that makes it a pretty tough sell. Can't imagine being disappointed with a creamback alnico though. Really smooth and warm.

Taste is so subjective. I would just pick the flavor you want.
I went kind of crazy with this stuff. Currently have 45 guitar speakers. I have no idea what is best.

Don't forget Fane Crescendos! Also their associated clones. Might need a bigger budget.

I had taken a look at the Rawson's, they are great sounding speakers, probably some of the best demos I've heard, but I just ain't dealing with overseas shipping on speakers and they don't seem to be very available used.

I generally hate Jensen speakers but the Blackbird alnico 100's are sounding really good with this guy's rig:

I got the Force 12 today and tossed it in the Twin along with a K120. This is a really good sounding speaker combination when cranked up. Warmth with plenty of available bite and clarity. I want to work with it some more this week but I think the Force 12 will get the job done. It's a really nice speaker.

Clips!

I takes a real commitment to even view picture threads thanks to my internet speed. A five minute video takes 3=-5 hours to upload from my connection and if there is anyone else using the computer, longer. And it only works if there isn't any glitches during that time. I'd have a more active channel if my internet connection wasn't total crap. I guess I should be thankful because it's not as bad as Hugest net.

Yowza. Are sound files equally troublesome?

Attaching a file to my email is a slow process but sound files might be less hassle. I've never fooled with them. I usually do audio/video with my Sony HDR Mv-! cam but it does have an audio only option. We'll see.

My buddies have starlink and love it. And that’s moving from Hughes net…because West Virginia….

Yeah I just don't feel like shelling out new Les Paul money just to be able to check emails and upload videos. If I relocated to someplace like WV where only Hughes was available, yeah, I'd throw down. But not here. It's pitiful because I"m not that far outside of a 50k town and my internet is pathetically slow.

It’s not that bad. It has equipment costs initially around 400 but then it’s like 120/month. I think. I’m paying 100 for cable interwebz and home phone.

120 a month? 1440 per year. No way. That'd be something the ol' lady would have to want. I'll get a library card, lol. I don't have cable or a home phone, since 2009. Current interweb is $50. Worth about half that. I didn't even pay my cell phone bill today cause I could give a crap. $30 per month to get spied on.

Do you have a method of posting to RT via email? I've been wanting something like that...
I don't. I haven't even posted an image to rig talk yet.

Probably the best I could do would be to capture some band footage and post it to the FB or youtube band account and personally link you to it when it's up via PM. Weekend after next I have a very loud gig and the amp will be cranked to 10. I once uploaded some pics to a forum and was doxxed and the dirtbag went after my wife so public sharing is not something I am enamored with any longer even when I can figure out how to do it.

I will add that If you are looking for clips of it in a metal or rock context you will be disappointed as that is not my gig. Clean, light OD and mid OD tones are pretty much where I work. Would that be adequate? If so gimme a couple weeks. Drummer man controls all the footage, has the faster internet speed, so if he says it sucks then it doesn't get posted to the band page.

Darn, was hoping someone else had found a solution.

Totally fair and understandable, unfortunately not the first instance I've heard of.

Works for me, but no pressure really. If it wasn't clear, my question about email was driven by self-interest to not have to use the web interface, I wasn't trying to push you to post on RT via email, sorry if that was the impression. That said, if you ever decide to share recordings I'd love to hear them.
