Either way I'm willing to bet they look much better now. He's got 4 amp models and I'm sure he's built dozens of amps since then. Maybe not, who knows? Can't tell without a recent pic.

Ironically thats the same reason he states on his site the reason he started his amp bidness from getting ripped off by Cameron yet he's using the same "amp order & delivery" system.

For me and many others its not the amps or guitars or whatever else he wants to pawn off...its the fact that he STILL will trash the same builders/modders if you get him to talk about it at all...he just spews that same trash talk about Fortin/Friedman etc....I know a few on this forum that have emailed him recently and it took little effort to get him to bad mouth people that we all respect and trust....and for that he gets the "Eternal Douche" award.

Yeah I never went down that road with him. Just had a chat about his amps and what not. I saw the pics and know the story of the shoddy amp that went out and it is what it is.

Hopefully he learned from the past. Bad mouthing other builders isn't cool, I get it and neither is selling dangerous amps. I guess I just like routing for the underdog. I do think the amps I've heard sound good but at the end of the day I bought a Bogner and not a Blades.

I like his story on his side of things too. Tone freak who decided to say screw the man and did it himself. He's got some great players promoting his shit and with all the BS aside that says something to me.

Who knows if it will last or not but we've all seen better builders sink faster. I really would like to see some recent gut shots though just to see what kind of progress he's made or maybe they're still a hazard who knows. Bugera had similar issues (minus the bashing of other builders)

Anyway I'm just rambling now and it's late. Blades threads are always entertaining.
