So, one of you guys suggested putting a pedal in front of the Uberschall to boost the mids/highs a bit because my recordings sounded fizzy and compressed. I picked up a TS7 Ibanez Tube Screamer today and here are the results. I'm digging the sounds it makes a lot.

First time I play the riff it's with the pedal in bypass, 2nd time is with pedal on, 3rd time is with pedal on and hot mode switch on.

Tell me what you think!

And another, only with the TS7 on

Here's my first Uberschall vid with my new presonus

Uberschall + Krankenstein at the same time!

Just added a video with the presonus I picked up today, very easy to use, sounds awesome, two inputs. Also added my simultaneous use of my Krankenstein & Uberschall.

Sounds cool to me. I bet it would track well with some drums. It does have a fizzy character to it but to me that tone would sound just fine with some live sound behind it :)

I mean you could always turn the presence down a tad to remove the fizziness. At least that's what I do. But then again it might not cut as well live if you do that. it's always a balancing act when I use amps live. Sometimes a little buzzy/fuzzy presence can thicken the tone in a live mix......I don't use a lot myself tho..

I havent played live in years, haven't even jammed with a band in several years. Im mostly a hobbyist at this point. Drummers are always such a pain to deal with.
