And right on time I get the follow-up call. I let it ring. Enough is enough.
What in Gods name do I need a call for a dumb wire for?

Yo dawg this is jake from sweetwater sorry about bugging you with the follow up call earlier I know you're a busy guy so I thought I'd contact you through rig talk any chance you need some patch cables to hook up your new pedal glad you are excited about it lemme know if you need anything else I'm here to help bwooooooooooffff cough cough later bro.
It was a directional power cable. Bro just wanted to make sure you had it oriented correctly for superior tone. And right on time I get the follow-up call. I let it ring. Enough is enough.

I’m getting close believe me. The guy that calls me, basically calls about a wire, or a pedal, then has nothing to say, so I have to make the fucking conversation. It’s ridiculous.I bought something small from Sweetwater once years ago. They straight up hounded me with phone calls until i finally flipped out on them to stop. They finally did, i'll never buy from them again.
Do me a solid next time and tell him you're waiting for PRS to make a 335 sized axe.I’m getting close believe me. The guy that calls me, basically calls about a wire, or a pedal, then has nothing to say, so I have to make the fucking conversation. It’s ridiculous.
You have to be more subliminal. Casually mention that you are in the market for a 335 style guitar but are "100% waiting for the new PRS 335 style to drop". When they ask what that is...play it off and say you weren't supposed to say anything.Do me a solid next time and tell him you're waiting for PRS to make a 335 sized axe.
Probably not the midnight "vibe" most of their customer base is looking for.
Same with me. I snapped one day when they called me AT WORK. They didn't even have my work number, they looked it up since I had things shipped there.I bought something small from Sweetwater once years ago. They straight up hounded me with phone calls until i finally flipped out on them to stop. They finally did, i'll never buy from them again.
Last time I went to a GC, they charged me $64 for a 10-pack of D'addarios, which were $39.99 online everywhere at the time. I told them I typically paid $39.99, and the guy basically called me a liar. I told him to look it up on MF, (their sister company for crying out loud), and there it was - $39.99 free shipping. He went on to whine about working on commission, and I asked if that's supposed to justify you bending me over?? I told him to shove his strings up his ass, and get a real job.I purchased some Ernie Ball Beefy Slinky strings 3 weeks ago and have been waiting for a call. I was hoping my sales engineer would check in and see if these strings were beefy enough. they are… I just like the reassurance.
Not getting a call makes me think about maybe traveling to guitar center for strings next time and I will just let the sales associates that will ignore me know that the strings are as beefy as they claim to be
