How about the Henning Cherry Bomb?? Just wish there was some good clips...
 Are all the clips on my website, both audio and video bad?

Steve

Gotcha. Note the return policy I mentioned above as well.

Steve

Apparently Suhr is working on a new PT sig amp that addresses all of my gripes with the current 100W head.... and adds some new goodies.. things just got very interesting lol

Yeah, it sounds like it has a lot of promise. I'll be shocked if they start shipping before April or May next year though. How patient are you?

We will find out when they officially release the specs lol :scared:

The Henning or Rhodes Gemini. Two stellar sounding versatile amps.

I loved the core tones in both amps. Went Gemini for huge midi implementation available.

Clean clips of the Gemini are not plentiful but it has its own preamp tube for cleans so you can put that Mullard in V1 and use your tele for amazing cleans or soulful leads. The next 2 preamp tubes can be fire breathers for he high gain side.

i see that you have a kitchen sink mod.

dont you like that?

I gather that it would be reasonably close to getting a brown eye!

As great as Rhodes amps are, they do not do the Marshall thing in the slightest. Awesome amps, just not Marshallish. IMO. :)

That is long gone and i forgot to update my sig

This may be an unpopular choice but I have a Laney VH100R that I sent to Trace and asked him to mod and in my opinion it covers everything you are looking for. The cleans are very good, there are two channels each with an added footswitch activated extra drive stage, three different FX loop options, and one of the things I had added was rotary resonance control giving greater control of the bottom end. I find the amp covers a great deal of tonal territory, especially that modded Marshall range. Hell, Laney's and Marshall's are a breed alike.

I think Wizard amps are great, but loud! Not for apartment dwellers.

I will be running the new head with a Two Notes Torpedo Live to record with and will only hear it through some monitors so the volume thing doesn't really matter
