It may be moot, because if you buy or create a profile, you’re entering your info but is it that one more step of Data mining or exposure to fraud too far?
I didn’t expect PHub to withdraw totally. That’s a lot of ad revenue to lose as opposed to the percentage who would have balked at uploading a DL vs. those who wouldn’t mind.

Yeah, firearm vendors have been doing that already for a long time. And if you’re talking about an actual firearm it gets shipped to a FFL, where you have to go and fill out a 4473 and do a background check before you can take possession of it.

Nevertheless I’m not really sure how I feel about it. Parents ultimately have the responsibility to police what their kids do online. It’s optics too. Hard to put yourself out there supporting unfettered porn access for children.

Possibly even legislate that a parent cannot supply a non protected phone/device to a minor? Kind of like a parent being legally responsible for their child using one of their guns in a crime?
I’m just not down for censorship of legal content for adults.
