I've had the same Lee Jackson era Ampeg 4x12 for over 10 years. It's all ratty and beat up but has held up so well over the years.

I've had the same Lee Jackson era Ampeg 4x12 for over 10 years. It's all ratty and beat up but has held up so well over the years.

its nice to purchase new cabinets and they look great new, but the first thing i invest in are some rock solid corners, take off the casters and rubber feet, and put in handles that i like.

afterwards it it gets beat-up, o well. its one of those things called mojo. i prefer my cabinets to sit on the floor anyway. not in a cart, not on rubber feet, not on casters.

shit happens

i will say, that the only thing i take pristen care of are my head's and my guitars. everything else is fixable/replacable/not a big deal.

so, if you build a baffle like mills n stick it in a marshall,or whatever cabinet... how does that change everything?

It's hilarious that only certain players get heat for using illegal perf enhancing drugs. Usage for recovery is wide-spread, and you can't tell who is and isn't by the way they look. Deal with it.

Who me? I don't need roids, i can play my Spinal Tap riffs just fine straight and clean. Bernie Williams the ex Yankee centerfield is actually a good player. He has a few albums out and tours in the area often.

Played a cab (Kerry Wright) yesterday that had an authentic pinstripe cloth and '81 green backs, Marshall specs. It sounded pretty amazing compared to the other cabs, but $3k price tag. And I want 2 LOL!

Funny, I was talking to someone in the industry way back in the 50s'-'60s and the dimensions from the original 4x12 were what they are because you could use a whole sheet of lumber cutting it with no waste. Cost, not acoustical engineering decided that. So, he said...
