UL headquarters is about 30 mins from my house. Send me a few of these and I'll bring them there.
 
OMG!!!!! MY MESAS DON"T HAVE A UL LOGO!!!!! THE FIRE!!!THE PAIN!!!!!

Luckily I was able to throw the smoldering hulks of those amps away last minute thanks to AMP KARENS telling me they needed that logo or I was literally sentenced to death. :doh:

In all seriousness there is no law that actually requires the item you are selling to be certified by UL because that would be illegal, as I mentioned take a look at any amp manufacturers back faceplate, let me know who has a UL logo on their product. Now for exporting items to Europe you have to have certain certifications to do that legally, as you can see most amp manufacturers have one of the many logos showing they are adhering to those guidelines.

This thread is just a sad example of how bad society or "Karens" or whatever has gotten, ready to report a upstart company or squash a new upcoming product because they feel as though it will make their crappy lives feel better by attempting to stop any sort of attempt from anyone trying to redeem themselves from the ground up. Knowing that if their feeble attempt to report that person would put them in a position that would just extinguish any sort of flame of hope in turning things after years of failures because to meet those guidelines in financial terms would be an impossibility.

If my life was so empty to go around finding arbitrary or convoluted laws and or rules to report people on... well I think my lunch diet would be a .45acp to the head because if it was that hollow, that I had the actual free time to do that instead of living, laughing or loving a woman or man (No judgement). It would be time for me to eat that self served .45 in my mouth. Why would I want to spread that sort of misery to someone outside myself if my life got that meaningless because really in the history of guitar amplifiers there was a huge death toll and piles of dead bodies because people were dumbasses. Someone just had to stand up and say "STOP!"
