I swear that short run of Atomica amps done years ago sound so good to my ears, a shame that all went to shit. That was a good sounding circuit.

I don't know the full state of things, this is just my opinion based on what I've heard. I would say reparations, and apologies would be a good place to start?
People fuck up, but that does not mean you can't redeem yourself. He's great talent, one of the best. Again just my opinion, he could have already tried to fix things for all I know. Would be a cool comeback story.

I put this out there for a few reasons, one to show people another option for the Hot Mod circuit (AJ original idea). As mentioned, I‘ve been using this unit for a long time and love it. Heck, I had a friend comment that he loved the tone of my plexi with it. Talked about it for months. The other reason was to create a buzz so that Mark see’s people would really want this product.

Heck, everyone that has heard my Cameron hot mod in person wanted to get it reverse engineered since they wanted one. I have character and integrity and flatly refused. Hopefully soon they will be available... I just hope they build enough of them because I estimate they will have a hard time keeping them in stock. Then of course the people with zero original ideas will make clones...

Maybe a new Ceriatone offering soon after, the "Fiery mod". I hope this venture can take off though, the guy has a lot of talent and a great ear. Would be a shame for it to go to waste. I do understand that there are people who are still out thousands too though and if he can make amends there, he might be able to pull his phoenix from out of the ashes.

Luckily I was able to throw the smoldering hulks of those amps away last minute thanks to AMP KARENS telling me they needed that logo or I was literally sentenced to death.

Thankfully only Nickelback still play Mesas so we're all safe.

Best of luck, unlike the other “hot mod” offerings this one is different, I wish the best for the idea but keep in mind marshall flipped the pinout for the reissues, two versions would be easier labeled if so. #karenaware

Great point Shea. In fact this 2011 1987X I’m on now has everything flipped on V1 & V2 except the V1 anodes.

In fact if memory serves a couple Friedman products V2’s are reversed as are some clones etc...
