Cameron Mod

So what is the tonal difference between Post 2004 and Cameron mod? I have heard a few different things. I am considering doing it, but don't want the amp brighter. Anyone have experience and could give me some details or opinions on the audible difference?

Cameron mod has noticeably less gain and is tighter. Event more tight is its variation, called "Brent mod", which is using .68uF cap instead of 1uF used in Cameron mod.
