I can’t make it switch channels! All knobs are pushed in and the light change but nothing switches.

Any idea??? Tried two TRS midi units now. The same. It must be the VP4

Have you tried posting on the Fractal forum? They're pretty responsive over there.

Have you made a backup of your presets? If so, maybe try reinstalling the firmware? Maybe resetting it to factory defaults?

I only see one Scene programmed on there, are you setting it up to do a Scene Toggle on that one Scene?

I have one working with a voodoo labs switcher. It’s been a while since I programmed it. The amps trs? And that’s your switcher with the two green lights?

What’s the “cc” doing?

Is the wizard latching or momentary switching?

I think it’s in your switcher.

Yes it’s a Garbage Collector switcher. The cables are TRS to mono cables. Does not what latching or momentary are?

I’ve tried another switcher. Same story :(

Ok so the wizard has 4 mono plugs for switching?
And the switcher has 2 trs outs?

I glanced over the manual. It doesn’t have a lot of options. And doesn’t offer much info.
Are you using that webmidi program thing they offer. Get that webmidi thing they’re talking about download and that should open more options for you.
once you get it switch your amp then worry about the vp4.

Try changing that cc# to zero first !
I’ll take a look at mine in a few when I get back home

Here’s a pic of mine.
First off change the cc# to pc
Second I’m assuming your switch is channel 1?
Third you have too many lines you need to delete that 15 program line.
Your programs start at zero. So 0,1,2,3
Would be your 4 options not 15.

Mine is like this.
My switcher is channel 1
My second vp4 is channel 3
So my amp goes clean/crunch/gain-all fx on. Then clean/cruch/gain fx off
So the switcher is 0/1/2 fx on. 3/4/5 fx off
So the pic shows my amp (ch1) as amp channel 2 with fx loop off.

I found out!!

dip switches should be changed! Works now!

Caution: In the delivery state, under no circumstances should there be more than +5V or negative voltages be applied to the TRSsockets. Otherwise the digital potentiometer would be destroyed (which wouldn’t be a big deal because it’s not that expensive andeasily replaceable). In order to switch AC voltages up to +-60V, the dip switch on the inside must beswitched to the off position for the corresponding TRS. This isolates the digitalpotentiometer from the circuit. In addition, the sleeve of the socket is separatedfrom GND. In this way the switches of the Garbage Collector are completely isolatedand can be used as an amp switcher, for example. To access the dip switch, removethe two Phillips head screws on the side where the TRS sockets are and carefully slide the PCB out.
