A friend/customer asked about modding a butchered JMP into a simple, no options Facelift machine. It went pretty well. A one-trick pony but who cares, it's a good trick.

Hmm, grind and headroom "to me at least" are two different things? When I think of headroom, I think big Hiwatt style amps moving air with not alot of gain until you've pushed them to their limit and they start breaking up. Again that's my opinion.Cantrells amps quite a bit more grind & headroom.
One more question...Sounds amazing @ZEN Amps, absolutely killer job.
I'm curious about your recording, mixing, and mastering processes for videos like this. If you wouldn't mind, here's a few questions:
Thank you for answering any you can. I'm always working to improve my video's audio and would love to know what others are doing.
- Did you use a YT backing track or is this AI-stemmed?
- Did you do any post-processing on the backing track? (E.g., Teltronix, 1176, SSL, etc.)
- Is this a cab or an IR? If cab, what mics did you use on the cabinet?
- Did you record with a mic preamp, if so which one?
- Did you push the triple tracks to a guitar bus and then compress? If so, did you use an SSL or something else?
- Any other typical guitar-related plugins/inserts on this like a Distressor, Soothe, 1176, etc.?
- Is there tape or a limiter on the Master Bus?
Great job on the amp!

@ZEN Amps, dude that sounds amazing. That's as Cantrell as I've heard and actually I like it much better than his tone.
Tone is subjective. I never said it wasn't amazing. But whats in a recording.
Pete Thorn can make 2 rubberbands mounted on a soda can sound like a snorkler record LOL>
Id say anyone that can take a tired rundown amp and make it sound like a Bogner knows what time it is.Oh I agree with all of that, especially judging headroom by a recording. Trust me, I'm the king of "subjective" on here lol. And take "most" recordings with a grain of salt.
That said @ZEN Amps did a fantastic job as I'm frankly not that big a fan of Jerry's tone, to me is to sludgy but I really liked what @ZEN Amps did here and why I said it sounded better than Cantrell's tone to me.

Thanks man, it's a fun amp to play but literally does one tone!Sounds amazing @ZEN Amps, absolutely killer job.

We probably won't, this was just an experiment really.Do you offer this as a standard mod/build, and if so what is the turn around and cost?
