I love one trick pony amps. They are the best at what they do.

That's the way I feel about it, too. IME, almost every amp that has more than one trick isn't that good at any of them. There are a few exceptions, of course, but I'd rather have one really good sound than two or three kinda good sounds.

I think having to make one sound work for everything makes for better technique, requires more thinking outside the norms, and ultimately makes better players. I feel the same way about single pickup guitars. Anything to push me out of my comfort zone and doesn't leave anything to hide behind.

Thanks man. There's not much to demo really, literally one core tone and backing down the gain sucks!

Here's the only other riff I know off that album - mids pulled back, treble up, presence down. Probably a bit gainy but the vibe is there.

Nobody really knew about "mods" in da 80'/ 90's cept the insiders. Funny how Cantrell & i ended up at the same place many moons later.
If you're a rock-tone afficianodo there is no excuse to have crappy tone these days.

Same. There’s a nice honk in some of those tones I don’t recall Jerry recreating on other albums.

I heard it is a 100 watt Snorkler Rack version with half analog and half digital. It should be out before the Ultralead II
