***Update*** CAZ-45 incoming...

So, I said eff it and grabbed a CAZ-45. They actually do some high gain stuff, so I'm excited to park it next to the Magnatone and see what it can do.

Hopefully GC doesn't eff up the shipping and it arrives in one piece.

Looking forward to your thoughts on this. I owned a Carol Ann years ago and thought it was killer, and this one's apparently a collaboration. Super curious if it can pass as a solid metal amp.

Was always curious about this one. Dr. Z makes some great stuff (own/have owned a couple) and I was disappointed that this model was discontinued after only being out a few years.

Saw a few YouTube demos and they were mostly blues dads or elder rockers playing exactly what one would expect them to. It’s too bad they couldn’t find a younger (50ish and under ) player versed in the heavies to demo this thing and really let it rip.

you buy the one for 2000 ??? I don't see it listed anymore .... I was eyeballing it myself ..... looks like they have another for 1700

I jinxed myself. GC did a shitty packing job, BUT the amp looks intact. It was lying on its back in the box instead of sitting up like it should have been.

They also forgot the power cord (yay). I'm taking it over to the local GC to get a cord, and to plug it in and make sure there's no internal damage I can't see.

It's also missing a tube cover sleeve thingy, so I'll need to get one of those provided it's still functional and I keep it. I'll update this thread asap.

CAZ returned.

I showed the GC guy here the pics, and he asked me to email them to him. Knowing them, the amp will probably be relisted by the end of the day.
