Why do you think they haven't posted a layout of this particular amp? Seems strange given they post the layouts on everything else...

maybe because it's his only design
but the main resistor and capacitor values are quite visible in the pics posted here, and could be easily copied with closer high resolution pics
I don't see anything special
figuring the switches out would be cool, though

I mostly apt to stay out of stuff like this... But this statement is completely false, and not based on facts.

The electronics shop that Mark worked for as chief tech Bought Jose's business out when Jose died... There were tons of un-finished amps half modded, many of which belonged to Major guys like DeMartini, etc. They found all the amps and didn't notice for a while that all the artists names were on the bottom of them.

Mark Finished the work... So really these were Hybrids of what Jose started, and what Mark finished... Mark just kept the mod called the Jose, out of respect.

Mark didn't Rip anything off!

Since I was there I'll straighten these facts up a little. He's pretty close though. Mark was the only tech. They didn't buy out Jose's business which would imply the name and the designs. They just bought the musical gear that was sitting in Jose's shop at the time. Jose's family actually shouldn't have even sold that stuff. They had to know by the nature of the business that those amps didn't belong to Jose's but were customers.

And we figured out immediately that those heads all belonged to someone else. As we were unloading the truck, most of them had invoices taped to the bottom. Mick Mars, Neal Schon, Bruce Bouillet were a few of the names I rmember. I didn't work at that shop but was friends with the owner and I was there to meet the truck and see what I could buy! Nothing was for sale which was good because I wouldn't have wanted to buy an amp I knew rightfully belonged to someone else. There was one that was done and had no invoice taped to the bottom. The Atomica Marshall, but that story has been told too many times already. If this amp was just a copy of a real deal Jose that would be cool.
