one more video with the more aggressive of the two clipping settings. Pretty hi gain and saturated.

That sounds killer! You’re making me miss mine. How does it compare to the Molecular? What are the differences and similarities? Is it redundant owning both?

They are different for sure yet they can be pretty similar too. The difference is biggest when not using the clipping circuit in the amps. The Yeti has IMO a better big, loud rock crunch. First bright switch(right side) to the Right and second bright switch to the Left with both gains about 1 o'clock and it's big time crunch and takes a boost (Bion Boost) awesome. Gains higher than 1 or 2 O'clock and it can get muddy.

The Molecular has more natural gain and only one Gain knob that can be put on 10 and it still doesn't fall apart. With my PAF wish humbucker I like the gain at 3 O'clock or just past with the bright switch off or to the left.

Now once you start adding in the clipping circuits on either amp they start to be a bit more similar. Still different, but in the room there is a difference. I like them both, but I lean towards the Molecular. They both sound pretty awesome, but it's easier to get a tone I don't like from the Yeti. With my guitar, tuning and pickups the two gain knobs are only good up to 1 ish O'clock for what I like.

I am not going to be keeping Yeti for long. Just don't need it. Two things I would prefer on the Molecular would be individual bias pots for each power tube like the Yeti has and a Line out would be nice. I'll make a video tomorrow of the Molecular with the higher clipping circuit.

You set the Gain 2 pretty damn high, it increases the saturation but makes things more muffled, I prefer keeping it low for a more cutting 80's heavy metal sound
