No problem I got you bro. It's an app that makes owning the libs with your fellow conservatives as simple as hitting a button! It's easy! You should download it and create an account. Once you do, you'll be given a list of cool bros in your area who hate libs as much as you do to hang out with. From there, you choose a bro to meet up and talk about how much you hate libs and how cool it is to own them and how much you love TRUMP! After doing that for a while, you get up and leave, thanking them for their time. They will happily say goodbye and won't mention at all that they were expecting anything else from the hangout. Head home and the next day, do it all over again!

I think he was saying "the fact that there are a people who say we should cut down on fossil fuels while burning through a more than most people themselves" isn't an argument against climate change being real.

Besides, the entire concept of a "carbon footprint" was a campaign pushed by fossil fuel companies to try and put the blame for fossil fuel consumption on individual people, while the reality is that since the early 70's about 100 corporations are responsible for like 70% of global greenhouse gas emissions.

I never thought those examples were an argument for climate change not being real.
It is a statement about people being full of shit. Rules for thee but not for me stuff.

Oh yeah, totally. It's not a good look at all when those people tell you not to leave the kitchen light on a minute longer than you have to while they're out doing sky donuts in their blinged out jets or whatever.

Lots of people dedicate their lives to things and still suck at it.
You blindly believe people in white lab coats, i don't.
I said climate change is possible, you treat it like settled science (whatever TF that is).

We’ve been over this before man. Climate science isn’t a building somewhere, it’s thousands of people all over the world. Generations of people have studied it and all found the same things, over and over again.
Not only that, once they find out what is going on, they do everything they can to prove it wrong.
And when they can’t do that, the scientific community as a whole agrees on it.

You are not disagreeing with me, you are disagreeing with people that actually know what they are talking about.
You are just a dude with opinions. Which is fine, but you gotta accept that the people who respect knowledge and understanding, are going to think you’re being a dumbass about it.

We are not ever going to agree on this, and that is just fine with me.
Your opinion is that "people actually know what they are talking about".
My opinion is "some people probably do, and some people probably don't".
It's really that simple. Figures and statistics can absolutely be manipulated and every once in a while a story comes out where figures and statistics were manipulated. Are they all manipulated? Obviously not. But it does happen.
I'm not going to pretend to be a scientist, and i'm pretty sure you're not a scientist either.

I didn’t say “all scientists”. One scientist could say he proved there is life on Mars. And he might damn well be right, but until a number of other scientists confirm it… it’s just a dude saying he’s onto something.

Climate Change has centuries of people finding the same thing. There is a very big difference
