No I don’t think so. It’s common for people to think that “freedom of speech” means that they can just say whatever they want without consequence. There is also often a misunderstanding between public and private platforms and how “freedom of speech” applies differently to those two arenas.

Combine that with the post that you quoted to make your statement that posed the idea of this forum being shut down from people being “nasty”, it is not unbelievable for someone to infer that your idea of “freedom of speech” is the ability to be “nasty” at will.

Had a nice round of golf. On the way home I picked up a couple cigars and two bottles of Italian red for supper. I have a 2.6 lb (!!!!) Wagyu ribeye that's gonna get cooked. The gf made a wonderful cheescake and she bought some fresh organic strawberries and blueberries from the market for topping.

Mmm-mmm yum. Odds are good I'll be having leftover steak and eggs for breakfast tomorrow. I can't polish off that much steak and have room for cheescake. Oh, no candles. It'd look like a frigging forest fire if we lit that many!!! Hahahahaha.
